        <title>For Her: THVM Atelier Denim Autumn 2011</title>

            <p>Founded in <em>Los Angeles</em>, California in 2009, <em><strong>THVM Atelier </strong></em>(pronounced '<em>them</em>') is a collective of creative minded people dedicated to designing and producing quality premium <em>denim</em> at an affordable price. <em><strong>THVM</strong></em>’s principals are based in the collaboration and relationship with multi-disciplinary arts. The brand’s aesthetic aim is to create sophisticated and refined designs, while being accessible to a wide audience. Simplicity is the core of the basics collection, allowing an individual to express their style and personality without the interference of over embellishment.</p>
<p>The <em>Los Angeles</em> offices of <strong><em>THVM</em></strong> are housed in a century old factory that is home to a collective of artists, designers and musicians. The collective group works side by side, each in their own disciplines, and shares insight into the creative process. <strong><em>THVM</em></strong> hosts events that showcase local artists and performers and opens it’s studios to the public on a regular basis.</p>
<p>The interaction with diverse creative minds feeds the design of the collection, resulting in fresh and progressive styles originating from exploration. The washes may derive from the subtle grain of a photograph or the finish of a sculptural installation. The cuts may be inspired by the angular crescendo of a musical score and the movement from an accompanied dance. The core identity and inspiration for <em><strong>THVM</strong></em> is to share and celebrate the wonders, struggles, and beauty of the creative process.</p>

<p>Autumn is easily our strongest season for warm accessories - and the super special <em>leggings, tights, socks &amp; accessories</em> we've just brought in from <em>Los Angeles</em> will keep our girls warm &amp; cozy through the chilly <em>Victoria</em> autumn. <em><strong>Hansel From Basel</strong> donegal nep and kneepad tights</em> dissapeared off our shelves when we introduced them last autumn, and this year looks to be no exception. Chunky, warm, flecked &amp; detailed with toes, heels &amp; kneepads, these are ideally worn under wooly skirts or dresses (or even layered under some relaxed denim or chinos). In addition we've received <em>pindot and curtain tights, chevron stripe detailed hosiery, rib wool tights and dressier flat knit silk tights</em>.</p>

We've received our first autumn batch from the fresh LA brand this week and are watching it slip nicely in amongst our other favourites on the racks at <em>Still Life For Him</em>.</p>

We've received our first batch our ladies, two gorgeous autumn <em>silk dresses</em> and two <em>silk tops</em> bringing elements of autumn colouring in with subtle details to give our ladies something special.</p>

<p>Dedicated solely to nail colour and care, <strong><em>RGB </em></strong>is a product line that sees nail colour as an extension of one's wardrobe; using colour as an accessory. <p>There are shades of <em><strong>RGB Nail Polish</strong></em> that have literally been available at <em>Still Life</em> for only a few hours at a time before we had to pull the samplers off the shelf due to selling through stock (<em>Pink, Minty, Black, etc</em>). Thankfully, moving forward into <em>Autumn 2011</em> we've built a strong relationship with the modern cosmetics brand which allows more regular restocking and a continually growing selection of unique shades. Returning this season are their beautiful variety of reds (ranging from the bright and poppy <em>Too Red</em> to the dark and brooding <em>Oxblood</em>) a perfectly curated selection of taupes &amp; nudes (barely-there <em>Buff</em>, sandy <em>Beach</em> and shade-of-the-summer <em>Toast</em>) and previous sellouts (<em>Pink, Minty, Black</em> and <em>Dove</em>).</p>
<p>New seasonal colours debuting for <em>Autumn 2011</em> include <em>Seal</em> (a smooth, sleek, dark taupe), <em>Camp</em> (fresh green with a hint of the murky outdoors) and <em>Vert</em> (a perfectly royal green, rich with depth). In total, twenty-four <em><strong>RGB Nail Polish</strong></em> shades are currently available at <em>Still Life</em>. With just a wee bit more sunshine left its time for our girls to grab some new shades and go lay out one last time in the warm summer sun before its all gone.</p>
