We've never been more excited than now to be offering the ladies of Victoria options in one of our most popular and iconic men's brands, as this autumn the brand really came together and put out an extremely tight and well-thought out line for the fairer sex.

Our first delivery for autumn of Fred Perry For Him sees the boys kitting up in classic (and ultra-soft laundered) shirting, fitted polos, basic v-neck tees and merino wool cardigans. For Her we've started with colour options in cashmere blended cardigans, oversized striped tees, high-waisted chinos and vintage tote bags. some of our most exciting seasonal collections over the past year at still life have been from adidas by stella mccartney. catching some casual shoppers off guard, the collaboration is a logical and natural marriage between the two worlds of fashion and sport - through the eyes of one of the most renowned young, modern, female designers of our time: stella mccartney. the collection meticulously strikes a balance where stella's fashion designs never compromises the performance aspect of a quality adidas activewear garment. sports clothes for women that don't look like an afterthought, clothes that enhance your performance, look good and also do a job.

offering our victoria ladies an alternative to the standard activewear styles, colours & brands, adidas by stella mccartney debuted at still life this time last spring to a tremendous response. designed as a complement to stella mccartney's fashion collections aesthetically, this is first and foremost a sports performance line with a technical aspect in every garment - designed using elements from her own fashion collections, like the colour palettes and attention to detail which is not normally seen in sportswear.

we've just received our strongest collection of adidas by stella mccartney yet - with styles from her running, cycling, yoga, gym studio, swimwear & weekender divisions of the brand. this is a hot delivery for spring that we're all excited to see outfitting our strong women of victoria whether they're at bootcamps or running clinics, yoga studios or just working out at the gym.

a fantastic second delivery of fred perry arrived at still life this weekend filling out both the men's and the women's (!!!) sides of the store. one of the longest-standing labels throughout still life's 27 year history, fred perry delivers classic, wearable, modern garments with an clear allusion to classic british preppiness that very much says, "victoria".

we've happily welcomed a strong selection of the fred perry women's division to balance out or men's offerings and give the still life ladies an option from one of our most popular men's brands. cashmere blended sweaters, drapey spring tanks and an oversized nautical tee the ladies pair with classic fred perry shirting, cardigans and polos for the men - as well as some fred perry footwear and an incredible orange fred perry deck jacket available in very limited quantities.

a tight little batch of adidas by stella mccartney styles showed up this week for our girls to stay warm while keeping active as the temperature continues to slide down.

pulling from stella's wintersport selection, we've got a variety of knit accessories to keep you cozy: ski socks, toques & scarves all in matching chunky heather/marled grey accessorize well with the rest of the brand. colourful long sleeve heavy graphic tees slip under the amazing fleece graphic ski jacket giving you a burst of colour amongst these muggy grey victoria days.

with everyone on their way back to school this week we are happy to have a full store of womens & menswear at still life for all of our victoria friends & family. it took a minute to see all the menswear pieces start to show up, but now that they have the store has transformed into a very autumnal version of still life boutique.

this week we've received two big batches of mens pieces from some of our favorite 'heritage brands' here at still life: penguin by munsingwear and ben sherman. we've offered these two brands at the shop for years and years and this delivery of autumn 2010 pieces proves why: clean, modern classics with attention to detail and trends to keep their looks contemporary.

penguin has arrived with a variety of fall plaid shirting (and one amazing lightweight flannel), three colour options for their classic 100% lambswool v-neck sweater, their perfect basic tees and a long sleeve polo with chambray cuff & collar detail. ben sherman is offering our boys a strong outwear variety: a clean & fit leather bomber, a great waxed canvas hooded parka (with removable lining), chunky cable knit vests & sweaters and a healthy offering of long sleeve woven shirts.

autumn 2010 is starting very strong at still life boutique.

we first introduced adidas by stella mccartney to still life boutique for spring 2010 and were elated to see the response from victorians to the modern fashionable activewear brand. fusing fashion and sport to give the modern, active woman a well-styled option when exercising, the brand fit beautifully in amongst our other fashion options.

we saw the biggest response to the pieces from adidas by stella mccartney's running, gym studio & yoga collections and have moved forward with more of these options for fall 2010. currently in stock we have some amazing 3/4 running tights, incredible comfortemp performance jackets, tanks and tops for yoga or the gym and women's accessories.

we look forward to another strong season with adidas by stella mccartney at still life boutique, with more pieces to arrive in the coming months, so stay tuned and get active.
