we're starting the week off with our first little spring drop from the american casual sportswear legends at original penguin. probably one of the brands that has had a home at still life the longest out of our entire brand roster, original penguin is legendary - worn back in the day by everyone from jack nicklaus to clint eastwood, and pretty much every member of the rat pack. original penguin styles and fits are always on point, with quality standards high from a company that's been at it for a minute.

with everyone on their way back to school this week we are happy to have a full store of womens & menswear at still life for all of our victoria friends & family. it took a minute to see all the menswear pieces start to show up, but now that they have the store has transformed into a very autumnal version of still life boutique.

this week we've received two big batches of mens pieces from some of our favorite 'heritage brands' here at still life: penguin by munsingwear and ben sherman. we've offered these two brands at the shop for years and years and this delivery of autumn 2010 pieces proves why: clean, modern classics with attention to detail and trends to keep their looks contemporary.

penguin has arrived with a variety of fall plaid shirting (and one amazing lightweight flannel), three colour options for their classic 100% lambswool v-neck sweater, their perfect basic tees and a long sleeve polo with chambray cuff & collar detail. ben sherman is offering our boys a strong outwear variety: a clean & fit leather bomber, a great waxed canvas hooded parka (with removable lining), chunky cable knit vests & sweaters and a healthy offering of long sleeve woven shirts.
