even in this age of digital information, eat.shop city guides have held strong as an indispensable, well-curated and inspiring series of travel guides designed to carry with you when you're on the road in a modern international city. focussed on cities both big and obvious (nyc and los angeles) and small and not-so-obvious (austin and portland), the folks publishing the eat.shop guides love  one-of-a-kind, worth going out of the way to visit, independently owned local businesses. help you navigate your way through hundreds of unique, authentic, local businesses that range from eye popping and brand new to deeply patinaed and way off the beaten path.

with all of our staff having pulled from the guides on local trips to vancouverportland and los angeles, we've been awaiting an international restock on the eat.shop series for the last few weeks of summer. moving forward with the guides our collection has expanded to include international destinations london and paris, as well as a wider variety of north american destinations including new orleans and miami. keep reading or click through the thumbnails to the right for the complete list of cities currently available at still life.

as much as all of us at still life absolutely adore victoria, british columbia - every once and a while work or play takes us out of the garden city. before heading to new york last year, matt & kim packed their lists made of insider must-visit spots that they've acquired over the years. miriam & jordan compiled a notebook's worth of secret spots all over portland, oregon last summer during their trip down across the border. thankfully, just in time for jordan, matt & kim's trip down to los angeles, we've received our first batch of eat.shop guides for a half dozen of our favorite cities around north america (including los angeles, new york & portland).

the eat.shop guides focus on cities both big and obvious (nyc and los angeles) and small and not-so-obvious (austin and portland). the folks publishing the eat.shop guides love  one-of-a-kind, worth going out of the way to visit, independently owned local businesses. though it’s a uniquely american sentiment to think bigger is better, they believe smaller is special—and they’ve dedicated an entire series of city guides to this premise. to help you navigate your way through hundreds of unique, authentic, local businesses that range from eye popping and brand new to deeply patinaed and way off the beaten path, we've begun with carrying the eat.shop guides for the following cities: austin, texas, los angeles, california, montreal, quebec, new york city, new york, portland, oregon, san francisco, california, seattle, washington & vancouver, british columbia.
