Still Life October 27, 2010, 1:42 pm 0founded in stockholm in 1996, acne creative director jonny johoansson's ambition was to create and develop a lifestyle brand through desirable products. early adopters of acne's premium denim cuts included swedish elle, which featured the classic acne aesthetic in their magazine. focussing strongly on minimal detailing, clean lines & slim straight fits resulted in sweden's top fashion boutiques picking up the brand leading to its global success.
setting the tone for the brand, the first full acne collection launched in 1998 – subtle luxury and understated items originating from the ethos that the clothes should feel like someone’s wardrobe. cool and personal. the result is that nothing dominates anything else, yet every piece is effortlessly stylish.
we're happily moving forward with acne womens at still life for autumn 2010 with two styles of denim: the kex in wet black hits low on the hip and is cut super slim all the way through the leg. the combination of soft stretch denim and the shape over the seat gives a perfectly tight & comfortable fit. a new model, the flex in wet blue has a narrow, tight fitting, non outer seam leg and a rise which is slightly higher than the kex. additionally we're offering a handful of garments ranging from silk cotton sweaters to long check plaid shirting. units and sizing in acne is limited for our girls, so call soon or pop in to visit the collection at 551 johnson street, still life boutique.
