our relationship with hansel from basel just started this past september and we've already had to send in a complete reorder of sizes & colourways after a lightning-fast sell through on our women's side. back in both S/M and M/L sizes are all the hansel from basel tights we carried in september & october, plus an additional few new styles that we're really excited about. these went fast the first time, so grab them while they're here to stay cozy this winter.

hansel from basel is a quaint hosiery company created in los angeles by designer hannah byun. descending from a line of hosiery manufacturers, byun combines sock savvy with her love for art and design. the opportunity to create a line that is independent, whimsical, and design-oriented felt inevitable. hansel from basel was launched in november of 2006 and what started as a fun and creative design project propelled into a unique and internationally recognized women's hosiery brand.

hansel from basel is a small elfin character developed for an art project during hannah's years in grammar school. little hansel is as free spirited as they come. he loves to prance through the swiss alps, flowers in one hand and the biggest glob of chocolate in the other. hansel is an avid traveler and never leaves the alps without an extra pair of lederhosen, binoculars for sight seeing, and lovely socks.
