For Him & For Her: Native Shoes Autumn 2011

What more can be said about the young Vancouver footwear company that could, Native Shoes? Within the past year and a half Native has gone from an out-the-box modern footwear concept (injection-moulded EVA foam in recognizable silhouettes) to a globally appreciated, industry approved, style savvy line of shoes designed with each and every human on planet earth in mind. We literally cannot keep sizes, colours & styles of Native Shoes on the shelves at Still Life For Him & For Her these days. We've fitted the candy-coloured footwear on everyone from newborns (and not-yet borns) to grandmas (and grandpas), hip hop sneakerheads to globetrotting divine gypsy travellers from entire teams of forward thinking barristas to costume departments on major motion picture shoots.

The Still Life For Him & For Her front windows beautifully display one of the nation's widest variety of Native Shoe options. We're not afraid of colour. Still Life For Him & For Her doesn't just stick with shell white and pigeon grey, or jiffy black and regatta blue - we've got the crayon yellow and kermit green, cardigan pink and torch red. We want to have a Native Shoe option for absolutely every summer tourist visiting Victoria, every exchange student living here for a semester and each and every Still Life friend & family member that comes in weekly to say 'hi'.

Native Shoe's brand motto is 'Keep it Lite' - an addage that applies to all aspects of the company. From branding and marketing, which saw the inclusion of a series of summer block parties that took Native to New York City, Philadelphia and Chicago - to humanitarian sponsorship sending cases and cases of Native Shoes to Haitian relief efforts and tornado-ravaged areas of the United States this past spring. Native is doing things the right way and we're proud to have as strong a relationship with the Vancouver-based company as we do.

Our first Native Shoes Fall 2011 delivery has arrived at Still Life For Him & For Her. This first fall drop really acts as a buffer delivery for late summer, putting the new fall colourways of the same hot summer styles as we've all fallen for over the past three months - and the new colours are stunning. Come by this weekend for your first crack at The Jericho, The Howard, The Jefferson, The Miller and The Corrado in colours including: cardigan pink, crayon yellow, scuba green and jellybean purple.
