nudie jeans have definitely crossed the line from the fringe to the mainstream.  from the legs of cynics smoking outside the dive bar hosting your least known next great dj, to the legs of jay-z and josh homme.  they have however, done it well and without offending their loyal, longtime fans.  some early nudie wearers moved on to lesser known brands, but we find them coming back for their favorite nudie fit.  nudie has kept their loyal customers by never abandoning their ethics and not growing too fast.  still made in italy, still made from japanese or italian denim, still dry, still ethical, still at still life.
