adidas by stella mccartney is brand new at still life this spring, fusing fashion and sport to give the modern, active woman a well-styled option when exercising. on the collaboration, stella says "i really wanted to introduce style into triathlon. it is something i felt needed a more sympathetic approach for women. i love the idea of encouraging people to ride a bike!"
by pairing with athletic powerhouse adidas, adidas by stella mccartney strikes a balance where the design does not compromise the performance aspect of the pieces. she's created sports clothes for women that don't look like afterthoughts. "these clothes enhance your performance, they look good but they also do a job... there is a real validity to making good-looking sportswear for women. in this day and age, we should not have to compromise style for performance."
