spring 2010 marks the anticipated return of des petits hauts to still life! this ultra pretty & romantic french label (think of a parisian lily & jae) hasn't been in our store for a little over a year, but the new tight selection of pieces we've just received for spring marks its return in a big, beautiful way.

started in 2000 by parisian sisters katie & vanessa the line is ultra feminine with whimsical glamour achieved through combination of delicate luxe fabrics (silk, cotton, cashmere & linen) and fairytale prints. drawing inspiration from alice in wonderland, mary poppins and the poetry of jacques prevert des petits hauts creates soft, comfortable and timeless tee shirts, tops and sweaters with charming original prints finished with a star for good luck. 

we've stocked just under a dozen styles from des petits hauts for spring: drapey cashmere sweaters, linen vests, silk blend tees and a fantastic boyish blazer - and we've got very little for backstock. this is a tight little collection for us that we hope to see disappear quick.
